February 13th - Austin - CHL Pistol Trainig Course - 7pm to 9pm
The Pistol Training course cost is only $40 for CHL students (normally $100).This class will cover safety, proper grip, sight alignment, sight picture, shooting positions, loading, rapid reloading, and much more....In order to attend this extra class you must email me in advance to let me know you will be attending. After attending you will feel much more comfortable going to the range and should have no problems passing the CHL Shooting test. Bring your Pistol!! Rentals Available

CHL Renewal Course
CHL Renewals are administered on an individual basis by appointment: for your convenience. Contact us to set an appointment. The course is between 4 and 5 hours as mandated by the State. Includes range time if applicable.

NRA First Steps Pistol Course
NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Course is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type. This course is at least four hours long and includes classroom and learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, and continued opportunities for skill development.Cost $125 - By RequestNRA Basic Pistol Course
This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development.

Self Defense Training
All of the techniques employed are derived from thousand year old real combat scenarios. Needless to say they are tried and true, not mere speculation. We have taken the basic principles of these age-old techniques and simplified them for ease of absorption. The self-defense program is based on a 2000 year old combat art, not a modern day sport. These techniques work in any situation regardless of the size and strength of the attacker. All the training is hands on to give you a working knowledge of the practical application based scenarios. | Texas Qualifications for CHL | |
To qualify for a Texas CHL you must:
- Be 21 years old. (Members and former members of the armed forces must be 18.)
- Have a clean criminal history, including military service and recent juvenile records.
- Not be under a protective order.
- Not be chemically dependent.
- Not be of unsound mind.
- Not be delinquent in paying fines, fees, child support, student loans, etc.
- Be eligible to purchase a handgun by completing the NICS check.
- Successfully Complete required training.
- CHL Eligibility determined by Texas DPS
